The Mimaki head cleaning syringe kit is used in conjunction with the ink filling jig or deflate tool to draw air out of the ink lines as part of the deflate procedure. The syringe is inserted into the access ports in the machine to suck out the air or other contaminants in the ink to allow proper ink flow.
The deflate procedure should be a routine task in your equipment maintenance program.
