Ink Filling Jig/Deflate Tool

The Mimaki ink filling jig or deflate tool is used in conjunction with a syringe to draw out air in the ink lines via the access ports of the machine. This is known as the deflate procedure. The ink filling jig is inserted into the printhead via the access window to open the valves and let ink flow freely.

The deflate procedure should be a routine task in your equipment maintenance program.
